We are looking for an Electrolysis Process Engineer for our client. The project involves advanced electrolysis technology and includes the design and optimization of industrial processes. Its goal is to develop safe, efficient, and innovative technological solutions for clients. The Electrolysis Process Engineer will be responsible for designing the process unit, performing calculations, and creating technical documentation, including PFD and P&ID diagrams. A key aspect of the project is collaboration with international teams, suppliers, and participation in technical reviews. There is also the possibility of supporting the commissioning and startup of the installation, ensuring the comprehensive implementation of the designed solutions.

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Process Engineer (Electrolysis) to support the implementation of a large project in the field of electrolysis technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing safe, reliable, efficient, and innovative technological solutions for clients,
  • Maintaining and sharing knowledge about electrolysis technology and related systems,
  • Creating process designs, including simulations (AspenPlus), process flow diagrams (PFD), P&ID diagrams, and control and safety concepts,
  • Designing equipment, performing hydraulic calculations, specifying safety equipment, instrumentation, and pipelines, developing plant layouts, and preparing technical documentation,
  • Participating in review meetings (HAZOP/SIL, model reviews, etc.),
  • Collaborating with other disciplines, clients, and suppliers (including participation in review meetings),
  • Possible involvement in the commissioning and startup of the installation.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, or a related field,
  • 3–5 years of experience in a design company as a Process Engineer,
  • Knowledge of simulation tools such as AspenPlus, HYSYS (knowledge of HTRI will be an additional advantage),
  • Willingness to work in an international team and travel to other engineering centers and construction sites worldwide,
  • Fluency in English (min. B2+/C1),
  • Passion for technical challenges, innovative thinking, and solution-oriented mindset.

Desired Skills:

  • Heat exchanger calculations,
  • Process simulations,
  • Creating PFD/P&ID diagrams,
  • Hydraulic calculations (sizing pipelines, control valves, pumps),
  • Specification of auxiliary systems,
  • Analysis of safety valve systems and PSV calculations.
