For our client we are looking for a Piping Engineer who will perform activities related to the design of piping in the Smart Plant 3D software for the assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- 3D modeling using Smart Plant 3D software.
- Preparation of pipeline studies.
- Creation of drawings (e.g., plans, sections, equipment layouts, etc.) using the Smart Sketch module in Smart Plant 3D.
- Preparation and generation of isometrics using Smart Plant software.
- Preparation of Material Take Off (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Preparation of load transfer data for the civil and structural engineering disciplines.
- Reviewing and commenting on supplier documentation.
- Participation in model reviews.
- Collaboration with other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, civil, process).
- Estimating and controlling man-hours for own tasks.
- Initial onboarding period (1-3 months) working in the office, followed by a hybrid model (minimum 8 days per month in the office, flexible arrangement with the manager).
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience as a pipeline designer.
- Knowledge of pipeline documentation (P&ID diagrams, isometric drawings, equipment layouts, etc.).
- Smart Plant 3D.
- AutoCAD.
- Fluent English – B2/C1
