Our client is a well-established technology company specializing in digital solutions that streamline and optimize B2B procurement processes. Operating internationally, the company provides a suite of flexible, web-based tools used by both buyers and suppliers across various industries. With a strong focus on innovation, integration, and customer support, our client plays a key role in shaping the future of eProcurement and supplier management.

We are currently looking for an experienced Product Owner to support our client’s continued growth and product development.

Tasks

  • Ownership and continuous development of the SRM module.
  • Application of agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM) in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Definition of product requirements and acceptance criteria (e.g. user stories, use cases, Jira tickets).
  • Management and prioritization of the product backlog.
  • Evaluation and alignment of external requirements with internal product strategy.
  • Coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delivery of stakeholder training and knowledge transfer (approx. 15% travel).
  • Maintenance of structured product documentation in Confluence.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in product management.
  • Strong passion for digital products and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
  • Commitment to developing intuitive, user-focused software solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, along with common tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Balsamiq) and process visualization software (e.g., Visio, Draw.io) is a plus.
  • Excellent command of German and good to very good proficiency in English.
  • Strong organizational skills, teamwork spirit, assertiveness, and good interpersonal sensitivity.
